“I am a yogi of 3 years and was fortunate to be invited to one of Kelsey's pranayama classes. As part of my regular practice, I had been exposed to breathwork and was definitely open and curious about exploring it with more depth. Immediately, I recognized Kelsey as a considerate practitioner. The space was set prior to arrival with calming sights and smells. She took the time to explain the theory and function of breathwork from a medical (she's a former nurse!) and yogic perspective. We then jumped into the practice. It is difficult to describe the full impact as it is predominantly a sensory experience (sort of like writing about riding a rollercoaster or seeing a waterfall) but I will say this - I felt incredibly at peace and connected to my body in a way that I had never experienced before. I was able to let go of all but the present moment, which for me means no task lists, stress or worry. Instead it was just rhythm and breath and feeling. I would absolutely do it again and think that anyone looking to more deeply connect with their physical, emotional and spiritual selves should give it a try. See you in a class soon!”
